What is included
- Kickoff briefing covering constraints, flash budget, and non-negotiable dates
- Shared backlog of firmware milestones with named owners
- Hands-on implementation and review in C, C++, or Rust as used by your tree
- Integration support with your CI and hardware-in-the-loop setups
- End-of-engagement notes: hazards, deferred work, and suggested next tests
What is excluded
- Hardware redesign or PCB layout
- Consumer app or cloud console development (unless it directly blocks the firmware path and is scoped separately)
- 24/7 production incident staffing
Provider & process
Desktop Leafpoint consultants lead the partnership. Work proceeds in weekly slices: plan → implement/review → demo on target → adjust. Decision rights on product priorities stay with you; we escalate blockers early rather than silent slip.
Duration & delivery
Most partnerships run four to twelve weeks. Delivery happens at our Hat Yai office when pair-programming proximity helps, at your lab when fixtures are immovable, or remotely when repositories and remote benches are already in place.
Preparation
Share schematic excerpts for relevant buses, the current repo layout, toolchain versions, and who can approve merges. If OTA or secure boot is in scope, provide the signing and staging rules you must follow.
Constraints
We work within your coding standards and release gates. If silicon is still spinning, the partnership may pause at bring-up support until parts arrive — we will say so in the briefing rather than invent progress.
Pricing basis
Quoted as a weekly rate for a named consultant load, or as a fixed price against a written milestone list. See Rates for orientation figures. A deposit may apply for multi-week bookings.
